European Vocational Skills Week 2018

Declaration

1. We strongly believe in the capacity of young people to address the problems of today society.

2. We underscore the need for a continuous vocational education, first elements being required in the early school grades, since education is a step by step construction.

3. We believe in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to create a sense of usefulness of all vocations and rise the social profile of all vocational skills.

4. We support business implication in vocational training and on-job training.

5. We believe in self-employment and all forms of independent work, mainly in respect of vocational skills.

6. We advocate STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) education in its true and original meaning, rejecting false labelling of technological toys as being STEM products.

7. We support partition of young generation and vocational skills students to a global world, in respect of European values and making full use of balance between personal and professional life.
