Economic diversification and biodiversity conservation Economic diversification of local developing business may be a key to enhance the complience of development needs with biodiversity conservation requirements. Together with educating entrepreneurship culture and social and environmental responsability, economic diversification may be a strategic tool to reduce poverty and, thus, pressure on natural resources from within and around the Natura 2000 site.
